Abstract :

The sperm strorage needs dilution and source of energy adding to support sperm viability. One of source of energy that needed by spermatozoa was milk. The objective of the experiment was to investigate the interaction of different milk diluter and time observation on motility and viability of common carp spermatozoa. The highest average sperm motility was skim powder milk (P3) at 12 hours observation and the lowest average sperma motility was NaCl fisiologis (control/PO) at 42 hours observation. Skim milk diluter (P3) produced highest viability of spermatozoa at 6 hours observation and the llowest gained by sperm with NaCl fisiologis (PO) at 42 hours observation.
