Abstract

This research is in order to empirically testing about the relationship between perception against the parental authoritative childrearing and shyness preference on the early adolescense, and in order to know how strong perception contribution against the parental authoritative childrearing against shyness preference on the early adolescense. Subjects in this research are 1 st class students of the MTS Negeri 1 Malang with the number of subjects are 144 students and 78 of them be prepared to be try out subjects. This research derivation is carry out by the using of likert scale in the form of questionaire. The results of the research are indicates that there is relationship between perception against the parental authoritative childrearing and shyness preference. Both of variables has positive corelation, in the sense that more positive perception against the parental authoritative guidance pattern, more positive the shyness preference on the first adolescense, too. Nevertheless, this perception against the parental authoritative guidance pattern is only having relatively small contribution or impact into shyness preference.
